The Spanish Society of Medical Radiology (SERAM) is promoting personalized training in patient management skills, quality of care, and communication for all health professionals.

The aim of the course, named the Yucoach Health Care service, is to provide tools that allow health workers to improve their daily reality in terms of time management, stress management, and their own well-being, which in turn has a direct impact on improving care for patients.

José Domingo, executive director of SERAM, said the COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the need for healthcare workers on the front lines to address their own well-being and that the issue is important within the entire health sector.

The training scheme focuses on the following areas:

  • Improving efficiency in multichannel communication with the patient, improving knowledge of the patient
  • Contributing to the natural adaptation to the different digital communication channels with patients
  • Improving time management and increasing efficiency in their specialty and quality of care
  • Learning to manage stress and resolve complex situations
  • Increasing certainty and security within the specialty and with respect to the patient

More details are available (in Spanish) on the SERAM website.
