Nanox AI signs distribution deal for HealthOST software

Nanox AI, a subsidiary of Nanox Imaging, has signed an exclusive sales reseller agreement with Vertec Scientific for the commercialization of its HealthOST bone health AI software in the U.K., covering an initial three-year term.

HealthOST is an AI software that analyzes routine CT scans to provide qualitative and quantitative assessment of the spine, including vertebral labeling, height-loss measurements, and bone-attenuation measurements to support evaluation of conditions such as osteoporosis. It has clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and UKCA/CE markings. The software analyzes scans performed for other clinical indications, requiring no additional imaging or patient time, Nanox AI highlighted.

In November 2025, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommended HealthOST among five AI technologies for NHS use as options to aid the opportunistic detection of vertebral fragility fractures, according to the announcement.

Vertec Scientific is a UK-based provider of dual x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) and bone health products with nearly five decades of experience serving hospitals and clinics across the UK.
