Philips is releasing IntraSight Plus, an updated version of its IntraSight interventional guidance platform that merges IntraSight and SyncVision technologies into a single system.
IntraSight Plus combines Class IA intravascular ultrasound, instantaneous wave-free ratio/fractional flow reserve physiology, co-registration, tri-registration, and real-time device visualization on one screen, according to the company. The platform connects with Philips' Azurion image-guided therapy system and PACS. Philips said the platform can deliver a 47% system operation time savings compared with running IntraSight, SyncVision, and Azurion separately, based on a simulated-use study.
IntraSight Plus has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and CE marking in Europe, the firm said.
