The European Society of Radiology (ESR) has promoted Dr. Ioana Lupescu from Romania to become editor in chief of its Electronic Presentation Online System (EPOS).

Lupescu has served as assistant editor for EPOS for the past year. Her new appointment was effective as of ECR 2017, according to the ESR.

Lupescu is the head of the department of radiology, medical imaging, and interventional radiology at the Medical Faculty of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila" in Bucharest.
