The U.K. Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) exams team is modifying its remaining 2022 exam sittings after becoming aware of a level of bookings that is "not satisfactory."

In a statement released on 23 June, the team said that a new exam application system is under development and that candidates will still apply for exam sittings online. The team also said the dates for exam priority windows remain the same.

Candidates will need to complete an online webform. The team said candidates who complete the web form will receive an onscreen confirmation message and a link to make payment will be sent out via email.

Priority window 1 applicants (U.K. trainees; Singapore, Malta, and Hong Kong trainees; and National Health Service contributors) will be guaranteed a place at their first- or second-choice venues. They will receive confirmation of their booked place within 48 hours of submitting their application.

Priority window 2 applicants (other global candidates) will be allocated places on a first-come, first-served basis. They will be notified of their place in the exam and sent a link to make payment within 24 hours of making their online submission.
