Radiation oncology firm Nucletron of Veenendaal, Netherlands, will market and license Mosaiq software from Swedish oncology firm Elekta of Stockholm.
The arrangement was reached following Nucletron's recent decision to halt development, sales, and marketing of its Oncentra Visir and Oncentra information management product lines. Nucletron will now focus its efforts on developing products for brachytherapy and treatment planning for external-beam radiation therapy.
Mosaiq features an image-enabled electronic medical record integrated with administrative management functionality designed to provide workflow automation for oncology applications.
