Clinical applications discussed include staging and restaging of common cancers and key cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases. Training in both nuclear medicine and radiology is a prerequisite for high-quality image interpretation of hybrid systems. The Advanced CT portion of this course presents new developments in this ever-evolving technology such as dual energy, spectral, volumetric, and dose reduction CT. CT advances get incorporated into PET-CT influencing diagnostic imaging as a whole. This annual case-based course on PET-CT, MRI-PET, and advanced CT offers both comprehensive lectures by leading experts in the field, as well as hands-on reading workshops in reduced groups.
