Affidea has acquired two clinics in Portugal's Algarve region: the Clínica Radiologia de Albufeira and Clínica do Coração do Alentejo.
Radiologia de Albufeira has a 28-year history providing diagnostic imaging in the Algarve, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography, x-rays, and bone densitometry exams, Affidea said. Clínica do Coração do Alentejo was established in 2009 and primarily provides cardiology services, as well as services in psychiatry, dermatology, internal medicine, pneumology, rheumatology, and urology.
The acquisitions follow the company's recent expansion in Switzerland, Romania, Croatia, and the U.K. Affidea now operates 332 centers in 15 countries, the company said.
