The German Radiological Society (DRG) awarded Dr. Bernd Hamm honorary membership for his long-term commitment to developing radiology.
Dr. Hamm is the director of radiology at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the chairperson of the European Society of Radiology (ESR) Board of Directors, and he also served as president of ESR and ECR 2018.
Things people may not know about Hamm are that he likes to ski with his sons Charlie and Colin, he has a special pen gifted by a former boss that he uses to sign all his important documents, and he maintains his well-being through teamwork, according to a report posted by the DRG.

Low values at SMI and elastography are suggestive of benignity.
