The French Society of Radiology (SFR) has extended the deadline for its two innovation awards to 20 June.
In collaboration with the National Union of the Medical Technology Industry (SNITEM) and the French Healthcare Association, the SFR is giving startups the chance to win the Innovation in Medical Imaging Award and participate in the Francophone Radiology Days at its annual congress (Les Journées Francophones de Radiologie, JFR), which will be held in Paris from 3 to 6 October. The application can be filled out on the SFR's website.
Also, the SFR is promoting a second award for industrial partners who are leading innovative work in various fields of medical imaging. Collaborating with SNITEM, Medicen Paris-Region, and the French Healthcare Association, the SFR has created the JFR Innovation Award.
The award categories include the following:
- Cross-sectional imaging (CT, MRI)
- Interventional imaging
- X-ray imaging (conventional, mammography, musculoskeletal) and ultrasound
- Health informatics/AI
- Jury's favorite award
