The plan will now be called the Quality Standard for Imaging (QSI). Its fundamental criteria will remain the same, the RCR and SCoR said.
Originally called the Imaging Services Accreditation Scheme (ISAS), the plan was created in 2009 to help providers improve their diagnostic imaging services and to make sure patients consistently receive quality care from accredited facilities. Thirty-five U.K. services have received ISAS accreditation; 54 are currently working toward it.
