U.K. AI software developer Brainomix has entered into a partnership with Medtronic Neurovascular for stroke care and treatment in Western Europe.
The partnership will combine Medtronic’s neurovascular therapies and technologies with Brainomix’s AI-driven imaging to aid treatment and transfer decisions for stroke patients. Key benefits of the collaboration include regional stroke care coverage and improved clinical workflows, according to Brainomix.
In its announcement, Brainomix noted a five-year, real-world evaluation of Brainomix 360 Stroke across England, involving data from more than 450,000 patients. Thrombectomy rates doubled at evaluation sites, an additional 37% increase compared with nonevaluation sites, the company reported.
