Computer-aided detection (CAD) software developer iCAD has inked a worldwide distribution agreement with enterprise imaging vendor Sectra.
Under the deal, Sectra will offer iCAD's ProFound AI and ProFound AI Risk applications via the Sectra Amplifier Marketplace. ProFound AI is designed to detect malignant soft-tissue densities and calcifications for digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT), as well as conventional mammography exams, according to iCAD.
The other software application covered by the deal, ProFound AI Risk, provides a short-term risk estimation based on analysis of a screening mammogram.
