The European Society of Radiology (ESR) has pledged to support the creation of the European Parliament Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in a Digital Age (AIDA).
The ESR backs the goal of the committee, which was created in June 2020, to analyze the future impact of AI on Europe. In a statement on the ESR website, the society said it looks forward to working with the committee and has continuously called on the European Union to unleash the full potential of the technology for improved healthcare, considering radiology is at its forefront.
