Image processing software developer Advantis Medical Imaging has received a seed investment of 700,000 euros from venture capital firm Metavallon VC, according to an 18 March article on EU-Startups.com.
Advantis recently received the CE Mark for its Brainance MD software, a cloud-based platform that allows for the visualization and postprocessing of three types of brain MRI exams: diffusion-tensor imaging, dynamic susceptibility contrast perfusion, and functional MRI.
The investment will support promotional and commercial operations, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into its existing software services, and further research and development, according to Advantis.
