The European Institute for Biomedical Imaging Research (EIBIR) published its strategic research agenda for biomedical imaging.
The agenda identifies current challenges and needs in healthcare, illustrating how biomedical imaging and derived data can help to address these challenges.
The new strategy was developed in collaboration with EIBIR's shareholders identifying and describing five main challenges facing biomedical imaging today, and it addresses in detail how these challenges can be overcome.
The agenda highlights personalized medicine, big data, artificial intelligence, and biomedical imaging's role as a forerunner in the digital transformation of healthcare.
