The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) has conferred stage 6 status of its international acute Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (EMRAM) on St. George's University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in London.
St. George's, which has more than 1,000 beds and serves a population of 2 million people, is the second trust and the largest in the U.K. to receive the award, according to HIMSS. It was also the first to be accredited after an onsite visit by HIMSS inspectors.
