Radiobotics gets CE Mark for fracture detection software

By AuntMinnieEurope.com staff writers

July 1, 2022 -- Danish artificial intelligence (AI) software developer Radiobotics has received the CE Mark for RBfracture, a program designed to detect fractures in trauma patients.

Globally, 178 million fractures were registered in 2019, and missed fractures account for a vast majority of diagnostic errors in emergency settings. RBfracture covers the entire appendicular skeleton and can act as an extra pair of eyes in emergency departments, Radiobotics said.

The product is a result of a collaboration between Radiobotics and Virtual Radiologic (vRad), a leading U.S. teleradiology practice with 500 U.S. board-certified or eligible physicians, the company added.
