Development of CAD in a 43-year-old male smoker, with atypical chest pain, hypercholesterolemia, and a family history of CAD. At baseline, the coronary artery calcium score was zero (A), and the coronary CT angiogram was normal (B). Noncontrast CT chest (C) 10 years later showed calcified plaques in the right coronary artery and left circumflex coronary artery.
