Keep doing ultrasound: Paul Sidhu issues fresh plea to radiology

Rather than viewing ultrasound examinations as a time-consuming chore, it's essential for radiologists to view them as a way of raising their profile with the patient and providing a valuable clinical service for referring doctors. That's the opinion of one of Europe's leading ultrasound specialists, Prof. Paul Sidhu, who is closely involved in several scientific sessions at ECR 2024.

In an exclusive video interview, he reiterates his belief that radiologists must not abandon the modality. Sidhu, who is professor of imaging sciences at King's College Hospital in London and former president of both the European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology and the British Medical Ultrasound Society, also looks ahead to the program highlights for ECR 2024 and selects the scientific sessions that excite him most.
