Agfa HealthCare has completed the installation of an IMPAX 6 PACS network at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and a computed radiography (CR) system upgrade at Papworth Hospital.
The IMPAX 6 PACS was integrated into the Trust's Breast Screening Service, as well as the U.K.'s National Breast Screening System (NBSS). The new installation provides a completely digital breast imaging system at Glenfield Hospital, where the breast screening service is based, and also for its mobile screening van service that includes healthcare facilities at Leicestershire and Rutland.
Papworth Hospital, the country's largest specialist cardiothoracic hospital, acquired an Agfa DX-G CR system to replace an existing Agfa CR system, the company reported.
