The Italian Society of Medical Radiology (Societa Italiana di Radiologia Medica or SIRM) has issued a report about the success of its meeting held at La Nuvola Congress Center in Rome on 6-9 October.
The meeting's three main themes were breast diagnostics and intervention, interventional radiology, and artificial intelligence in radiology. The meeting also held simulation courses that covered topics such as vascular, extravascular, neurovascular, and interventional material.
More than 80 exhibitors attended; of these 60 were diagnostic imaging firms, 16 were interventional radiology companies, and four were publishing firms, the society said.
