A startup called Niramai Health Analytix has launched a home breast health screening service based on thermal imaging and artificial intelligence (AI), according to a report posted on 5 June by the Indian online publication YourStory.

The service is designed to help women who want to check their breast health for the first time, are due for an annual examination, or who have noticed changes in their breasts, the report said.

Niramai is based in Bengaluru, India. Women can book an appointment online; a female technologist comes to their home within 48 hours and assesses their breast health using the company's Thermalytix device, which combines thermal imaging and AI to measure the temperature of the chest and help detect early-stage breast cancer, according to YourStory.
