Dutch diagnostic imaging, outpatient, and cancer care services firm Affidea has acquired a stake in Brust-Zentrum Zürich, the largest breast medicine group in Switzerland. With the acquisition, Affidea Switzerland expands into the breast care space.
The combined portfolio in Switzerland of Affidea and Brust-Zentrum Zürich represents more than 280 professionals working in 11 centers, who see more than 145,000 patients annually.
Affidea Group operates 320 centers across 15 countries, providing medical services to over 10 million patients every year. Its most recent acquisitions in Europe include Promea, CDC Group, and Radiological Center Lodigiano in Italy; Medicentro outpatient center in Spain; Fortius sports medicine clinic in the U.K.; and the Orthoderm and Hillsborough outpatient providers in Northern Ireland.
