German symposium to spotlight AI, gadolinium, 7T MRI

Artificial intelligence (AI), gadolinium safety, and 7-tesla MRI will be the key topics for the upcoming Frankfurt Interdisciplinary Symposium for Innovative Diagnostics and Therapy (FISI) 2018, according to the German Radiological Society (Deutsche Röntgengesellschaft, DRG).

The meeting is titled "MRI and beyond" and will feature sessions covering a wide range of medical disciplines, including head and neck, cardiac, musculoskeletal, gynecological, and abdominal diagnostics. Among several notable speakers are Dr. Michael Forsting and Dr. Alexander Radbruch, JD, from Essen University Hospital. Forsting will discuss AI and 7T MRI, and Radbruch will deliver the latest updates to cerebral gadolinium deposition.

The meeting will take place 14 to 15 September in Frankfurt.
