Euro health bodies announce 5-year strategy

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Heads of Medicines Agencies (HMA) have released their five-year strategy, which includes prioritizing digital technologies and more.

Their strategy between now and 2025 includes the following priority areas:

Availability and accessibility of medications
Data analytics, digital tools, and digital transformation
Innovation
Antimicrobial resistance and other emerging health threats
Supply chain challenges
Sustainability of the network and operational excellence

It was released after the EMA and HMA adopted the strategy.
