Eckert & Ziegler signs deal with Alpha Tau Medical

Isotope technology firm Eckert & Ziegler has signed a multiyear agreement to supply Israeli radiation therapy technology developer Alpha Tau Medical with thorium-228, a radioisotope used to produce Alpha Tau's Alpha DaRT therapy for solid tumors.

Alpha Tau, which is currently running several global clinical trials, expects to soon receive marketing authorizations for Alpha DaRT, according to Eckert & Ziegler.
