Eckert & Ziegler receives approval for Ga-68 expansion

Isotope technology firm Eckert & Ziegler has received manufacturing authorization by the Berlin State Office for Health and Welfare and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for additional production lines on its GalliaPharm gallium-68 (Ga-68) generators.

The company said that it had invested in additional capacity due to increased demand for Ga-68 for precision oncology. The new production lines are now available for use, according to Eckert & Ziegler.
