U.K. radiographers vote in favor of NHS pay offer

A vast majority of members of the Society of Radiographers (SoR) in England, Northern Ireland, and Wales have voted "yes" to the 2018 pay offer from the U.K. National Health Service (NHS).

The new offer includes a three-year pay deal from new money committed by the government, as well as changes to the pay structure to make it "better and fairer," according to the NHS.

Among all voters, 88% in England, 96% in Northern Ireland, and 85% in Wales voted in favor of the pay offer. Approximately 94% of student members also voted for acceptance. Negotiations with members of the society in Scotland are still in progress.
