Agfa to provide dose-monitoring software to Dutch hospitals

Agfa HealthCare has signed an agreement to deliver its dose-monitoring software in the Netherlands.

The hospital group Santiz will implement Agfa's dose management software at the 214-bed Regional Hospital Queen Beatrix (SKB) in Winterswijk and the 420-bed Slingeland Hospital in Doetinchem.

The software can monitor, assess, and help optimize patient radiation dose, as well as analyze radiation dose information at a patient, imaging modality, or institutional level, according to the company.
