Over half of physicians expect widespread use of AI within 10 years

A new report from EY, formerly Ernst & Young, indicates that 56% of physicians and 51% of consumers in England believe it's likely or very likely that artificial intelligence (AI) technologies will be commonly used for diagnosis, medical imaging analysis, and medication management within the next 10 years.

EY's 2019 NextWave Health report for England, which was compiled from a 2018 survey of physicians and consumers, highlights changing attitudes toward digital health technologies, according to the company.
