MVision deploys AI radiation treatment software in Finland

Finnish company MVision has launched artificial intelligence (AI) software for radiation treatment planning at hospitals in Turku and Helsinki.

The software has been trained with hundreds of image sets, allowing it to delineate tissue structures automatically for physician review, the company said. It was deployed on 23 January at Turku University Hospital and Docrates Cancer Center and initially used with prostate cancer patients, according to MVision.
