VIENNA - The European Society for Hybrid Imaging (ESHI) has already signed up more than 150 members -- not bad for a new group that is launching at ECR 2016. Thomas Beyer, PhD, professor of physics of medical imaging and deputy head of the Center for Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering at the Medical University of Vienna, is treasurer of ESHI. In an interview with AuntMinnieEurope.com Editor-in-Chief Philip Ward at ECR 2016, he reveals why the new society is necessary and discusses other key developments in hybrid imaging.
