SuperSonic features Aixplorer updates at ECR 2017

Ultrasound technology developer SuperSonic Imagine is showing updates to its Aixplorer at ECR 2017 this week in Vienna.

The upgrade includes the TriVu real-time simultaneous mode, which combines anatomical and functional imaging in one single acquisition. In addition, a combination of new probes was designed especially for breast imaging, and the upgrade offers shear-wave elastography (SWE) to improve diagnostic specificity and 3D ultrasound for improved visualization of tissue stiffness.

Aixplorer also has new fusion, navigation, and needle guidance technology, which enable users to fuse real-time ultrasound images with MRI, CT, PET, and 3D ultrasound, as well as with other Aixplorer modes.
