AuntMinnieEurope appoints 3 new editorial advisers

Three radiologists from France, Russia, and the U.K. have joined the AuntMinnieEurope Editorial Advisory Board. The new advisers, who have a wide cross-section of special interests and expertise, will help to oversee and assist in the direction of AuntMinnieEurope.com's editorial strategy. They join the 16 existing board members. Below is a biographical sketch for the new advisers.

Dr. Christiane Nyhsen Dr. Christiane Nyhsen, consultant radiologist, Sunderland Royal Hospital, U.K.

Dr. Christiane Nyhsen has a keen interest in training and education. As a trainee, she was vice chair of the U.K. Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) Radiology Trainees Forum and chair of the European Society of Radiology (ESR) Radiology Trainees Forum. She is a college tutor at Sunderland Royal Hospital (coordinating training and assessments for radiology trainees) and an honorary senior lecturer with Newcastle University. Her main clinical interest is ultrasound, and she is currently introducing new services such as contrast-enhanced ultrasound and imaging of bowel pathologies with ultrasound.

Dr. Daniel Reizine Dr. Daniel Reizine, neuroradiologist, l'Hôpital Lariboisière Paris, France

Dr. Daniel Reizine works as a neuroradiologist at l'Hôpital Lariboisiere, part of the Assistance Publique-Hopitaux de Paris (AP-HP) network of public hospitals in Paris. He is a member of AP-HP's central management team responsible for the integrated IT system, and is the group's project manager for PACS. He is also a member of the IT group at La Société Française de Radiologie and a senior consultant for imaging for the French government.


Dr. Valentin Sinitsyn, PhD Dr. Valentin Sinitsyn, PhD, chair of the radiology department, Federal Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Moscow

Dr. Valentin Sinitsyn, PhD, is the chair of the radiology department at the Federal Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Moscow, the director of the radiology course of the medical faculty at Moscow Lomonosov University, and a pioneer of MRI and CT in Russia. His research interests are concentrated on cardiac imaging, abdominal radiology, contrast media, and computer applications in radiology. He is president of the European Society of Cardiac Radiology (ESCR), first vice president of the European Congress of Radiology (ECR), a member of the Executive Committee of the Russian Association of Radiologists, and past president of the Russian National Congress of Radiologists.
