The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) will host a face-to-face, multidisciplinary meeting on June 17 about musculoskeletal imaging and intervention in professional football.
The event will feature doctors from Barcelona FC, Juventus FC, and Liverpool FC, as well as sports radiologists and surgeons in the U.K. Doctors from the Dutch and Belgian national teams will also speak at the conference.
Topics will include integrating research into medical imaging, collaboration between clinical and radiological findings, and imaging support in terms of diagnostics and return to play, among others. An interactive panel discussion on imaging and image-guided procedures in professional football will also take place.
