Canon Medical Systems Europe has appointed Tetsuya Kawagishi as its new president and CEO.

Kawagishi's position became effective on 1 February, succeeding Nobuyuki Hatakeyama. Kawagishi has worked at Canon since 2003. Prior to this appointment, Kawagishi occupied a top position in the ultrasound systems division.
