X-ray shows 'zombie' knife attack in buttocks

Police in the U.K. have released an x-ray image of a "zombie" knife that was stuck in a victim's buttocks in a "bagging" attack, according to an article published in the Daily Mail on 20 August.

The "bagging" attack, which is designed to inflict a wound that would cause a victim to have to wear a colostomy bag, resulted in the knife being inserted so deeply that it had to be surgically removed, the Daily Mail reported. So-called zombie knives, which have been banned under English law since 2016, often have serrated edges and include words or images that suggest violent use.
