Brainomix collaborates with Oxford on U.K. project

U.K. medical imaging software company Brainomix is partnering with the University of Oxford on a government-funded project valued at 17.5 million pounds.

Brainomix will demonstrate the economic health benefits of its artificial intelligence(AI)-based e-Stroke Suite imaging software solution for routine clinical use at stroke units and hospitals worldwide.

U.K. Research and Innovation will fund the National Consortium of Intelligent Medical Imaging, led by the University of Oxford, as part of the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund. The funds are part of a 50 million pound project that will include the launch of five centers across the U.K., brining bring together businesses, physicians, and academia to develop products based on AI and digital technology to improve patient care and hasten diagnoses.
