Noble Prize Laureate to speak at EANM annual congress

The European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) has announced that Prof. Bernard L. Feringa, PhD, who earned the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 2016, will speak at the organization's annual meeting this month.

Feringa was a co-recipient of the Noble Prize for the design and synthesis of molecular machines. At the time of the award, he was affiliated with the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, where he earned his PhD in 1978.

Feringa's address is one of many events scheduled for EANM's annual congress from 13 to 17 October at the CCD Congress Center in Duesselforf, Germany. He is scheduled to speak on 16 October at 10 a.m.
