Breast density education group DenseBreast-info.org has launched specialist content for European medical providers.
In addition to featuring an interactive map displaying screening guidelines for selected countries, the European expansion also includes extensive educational content for healthcare professionals, according to the nonprofit organization. The effort to develop this content was assisted by Dr. Athina Vourtsis, PhD, director and founder of Diagnostic Mammography Center in Athens, and Cheryl Cruwys, a career educator in the U.K.
Country-specific content was provided by a coalition of professors and physicians, including: Dr. Michael Fuchsjäger of Austria; Dr. Boris Brkljači? of Croatia; Dr. Chrysa Tziakouri-Shiakalli of Cyprus; Dr. Foucauld Chamming's and Prof. Isabelle Thomassin-Naggara of France; Dr. Christiane Kuhl and Dr. Alexander Mundinger of Germany; Dr. Adriana Bonifacino and Dr. Enzo Durante of Italy; Dr. Dragana Djilas of Serbia; Dr. Francisca Gras Canals of Spain; and Dr. Anmol Malhotra and Dr. Nick Perry of the U.K.
