MILabs installs ultrahigh-resolution CT in Israel

Preclinical imaging developer MILabs has completed the installation of its dual-energy, ultrahigh-resolution CT scanner at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel.

Principal investigator Galia Blum, PhD, and colleagues at the university's Institute of Drug Research will use the device to visualize disease-detecting probes that have been labeled with either gold or iodine. This technique will help the group in its search for new drugs aimed at managing pathologies such as cancer and autoimmune diseases, the company said.
