BJR appoints new medical editor in chief

The British Journal of Radiology has appointed Dr. Simon Jackson as its new incoming medical editor in chief.

Jackson joins Dr. Kevin Prise, who serves as scientific editor in chief to advance the development of the journal for the radiological scientific community.

Jackson has served as senior editor since 2010 after completing a number of years as an associate editor and reviewer. He has worked for the past 18 years as a consultant radiologist at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, U.K., specializing in both diagnostic and interventional gastrointestinal radiology, including endoscopy.
