The European School of Radiology (ESOR) is holding its Asklepios Course Multidisciplinary Approach of Cancer Imaging in Rome and will dedicate its program to lung cancer on the day.

The Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA) and Peru's Sociedad Peruana de Radiología also are holding events in honor of IDoR.

This year more than 110 societies worldwide are taking part in the IDoR, as opposed to around 80 groups in 2012. Volume two of The Story of Radiology will again be distributed in cooperation with the International Society for the History of Radiology.
