TeraRecon brings new offerings to Vienna

Advanced visualization developer TeraRecon is presenting its iNtuitionReview review and collaboration tool at ECR 2013 being held this week in Vienna.

Designed to serve as a vendor-neutral complement to PACS, the iNtuitionReview client supports multimonitor display of multimodality data in specialized use cases such as cardiac (CT, MR, cardiac cath, echocardiography, and ECG) or breast (MR, mammography, and ultrasound), according to the vendor. The application is also designed to enable preparation and execution of physician conferences, demos, and multidisciplinary team meetings, TeraRecon said.

TeraRecon will also highlight its full suite of vendor-neutral applications, including iNtuition, iNtuition Enterprise Medical Viewer (iEMV), iNtuitionShare for image sharing, and iNtuitionCloud.

The company's iNtuition package has received a number of new enhancements, including an upgrade to its Lobular Decomposition tool to support eight-lobe (liver) and five-lobe (lung) decomposition. In Findings Workflow developments, volumes and measurements can now be tracked over time, TeraRecon said.

TeraRecon has also enhanced support for cardiac MRI acquisitions in its Time-Volume Analysis tool and enhanced transcatheter valve implantation (TAVI) analysis for 3D/4D visualization. Its lesion-specific analysis functionality has also been upgraded with support for research into the downstream impact of stenosis, TeraRecon said.

The firm has also incorporated new accounting features into iNtuitionCloud, allowing users to track usage and bill accordingly. Furthermore, TeraRecon has added improvements to the free iNtuition Uploader desktop executable application to enable DICOM pushing of images to the Uploader for direct relay to the cloud, according to the firm.
