The college intends the course to offer radiographers support for continuing education and a way to demonstrate "personal and organizational commitment to professionalism and standards," it said. The initiative is part of CoR's Education and Career Framework.

Those who successfully complete the program will be listed on the CoR Accredited AP public voluntary register, which allows members of the public to confirm that the practitioner offering their exam or treatment is trained and qualified, it said.
