August 10, 2015 -- Advanced visualization firm Fraunhofer MeViS, headquartered in Bremen, Germany, has developed a special functional 3D heart display for this month's exhibition at Ars Electronica Center's "Deep Space 8K" experience in Linz, Austria.

Art and science meet as one in the exhibit, which uses special techniques to visualize the dynamic flow of blood through the organ and vessels, Fraunhofer MEVIS said in a statement.

Part of a display called "The Universe Within," the show leads visitors on an interactive journey through a 3D visualization of the human body and shows how organs, bones, muscles, and blood vessels function.
