Accuray brings Radixact to Germany

October 9, 2018 -- Radiation oncology firm Accuray said several cancer patients at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) received the first treatments from a Radixact helical radiation therapy system in Germany.

The patients were treated for breast cancer, head and neck tumors, prostate cancer, and spinal tumors, according to Accuray. The Radixact system recently replaced an earlier-generation TomoTherapy system at TUM, the company said.
