Cost increases for some radiology products may reach double digits, the company said.

"The impact has been so severe that, despite internal cost reductions, a price increase is inevitable," company officials said in a news release.

As of January 22, prices for all types of medical films and equipment will increase from 5% to 10%, with increases for other unspecified radiology products increasing by double-digit percentages, the company said. Details will be communicated through Agfa's commercial channels.
