EIBIR provides online COVID-19 resource

By AuntMinnieEurope.com staff writers

April 30, 2020 -- The European Institute for Biomedical Imaging Research (EIBIR) has compiled a list of imaging databases to help deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The open-access online resource offers a multitude of sources that can be used for teaching, training, and/or research on the novel coronavirus, depending on their license and format. The organization plans to continually update the information.

Contributors include the Italian Society of Medical and Interventional Radiology, the British Society of Thoracic Imaging, and the University of California, San Diego, which provided its COVID-CT database.
